Volunteer
If you are interested in volunteering, please come to our office in Micro 20 at Str. Furnalistilor nr. 24 on Mondays or Thursdays between 14:00 and 16:30 to learn more about opportunities to work with us.
Serving as a Heart of a Child Volunteer can be a meaningful and rewarding experience both for our children and you.
Our volunteers help provide crucial support in a variety of ways including:
- spending time with children at our Day Center;
- providing tutoring and educational support to children living in our homes;
- getting involved at our annual community events e.g., Children’s Day and the Christmas Caravana
- raising awareness about social justice issues in their schools and local communities
- helping us with our annual summer camps in Naruja, Romania
- providing assistance at our headquarters in Galati
These are just a few of the ways volunteers have contributed to the children and youth of Heart of a Child in the past.If you have new ideas on how you can make a difference in the lives of our children, please share them with us.
We are flexible with our volunteers’ schedules and look forward to seeing how you can make a difference in the lives of our children.
