The Heart of a Child Foundation

Heart of a Child brings help and hope to poor, orphaned and sick children in eastern Romania. For over 12 years we have sought to build a world that honors our fundamental belief that every child has the right to a family and home.

Our programs have shaped the lives of more than 12,000 children from Galati, Romania and its neighboring counties. We work extensively with children who were abandoned in state-institutions, children infected with HIV/AIDS, children living on the street and children with disabilities.

Heart of a Child Foundation is a non-governmental, non-political, non-sectarian Christian charitable organization grounded in Christian working principles. The foundation was established in Galati, Romania through public decision no.26/13.12.1996.
